How does Green Writer handle mistakes?

We want pages to be right, and when we learn of a mistake we fix it. Specifications, prices and product lines change often, so errors do creep in over time.

What counts as an error?

  • A specification that does not match the manufacturer’s published figure
  • A price or model that is out of date
  • A link that is broken or leads somewhere unexpected
  • A sentence that is unclear or could be read the wrong way

How do I report one?

Email editorial@greenwriter.org and include the URL of the page and what is wrong. If you have a link to a manufacturer page that shows the right information, include that too. It saves time.

What happens after I report it?

The Green Writer Editorial Team checks the claim against manufacturer information. If the page is wrong, it is corrected. When the change is significant, we add a short note to the page so readers can see it was updated.

What about prices and stock?

These change constantly, and the store’s page is the final source. If a price on Green Writer has fallen out of date, let us know and we will update it where we can.

Where can I read more?

See the Editorial Policy for how we write and review, or the Contact Us page for other questions.

Will you hide corrections?

No. We don’t quietly remove pages to bury a mistake, and we don’t ignore a report because the fix is small. If we disagree with a report, for instance because a comparison is a matter of opinion, we still read it and ask whether the wording could be clearer.
